Academic Journals

We provide through-the-line management and publishing services for accredited and non-accredited academic journals. Our services are deadline-driven and meet all the demands of the accreditation bodies. We provide services to the following journals:

Acta Academica

Acta Academica is dedicated to scholarship in the humanities. The journal publishes articles of an academic nature that examine society, culture and politics past and present from a critical social theory perspective. The journal also promotes scholarly work that examines how the humanities in the 21st century respond to the double imperative of theorising the world and changing it. We seek to contribute especially to the fields of postcolonial, development, cultural, African and gender studies that link to current themes and processes on the continent and especially to Southern Africa, without abandoning the global context and the shared perspectives of committed scholarship elsewhere. Acta Academica appears twice a year.

Acta Structilia

Acta Structilia is a South African accredited journal for independently adjudicated research articles on any topic in the field of the physical and development sciences. Each peer refereed article is indicated as such in the journal. The editorial staff considers articles in English and Afrikaans, written from any responsible point of view on subjects in any applicable field of scholarship, i.e. architecture, urban and regional planning, quantity surveying, construction management and project management, building economy, engineering and property or community development. Acta Structilia is published biannually by the University of the Free State. The journal is forwarded to all relevant research units and universities, Southern African research libraries, selected research institutions and libraries abroad, and to subscribers. Views and opinions expressed in this journal are those of the author(s). Publication thereof does not indicate that the Editorial Staff or the University of the Free State accept responsibility for it.

Acta Theologica

Acta Theologica is an accredited, South African journal publishing independently reviewed research articles on broad Christian-theological and religion topics, aimed at a national and international academic audience/readership. The Editorial Board accepts and considers for possible publication articles in English and Afrikaans, written from a responsible point of view on subjects in a relevant field of study within the Christian-theology science.
Acta Theologica appears bi-annually. Occasional monographs or longer contributions are published in a concurrent series of Supplementa.
